Welcome to the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program
The mission of the ACTPP is to provide science based educational programs to youth and adults to help teens make healthy choices that will result in lower rates of teen pregnancy in the community.
In partnerships with the Adams County Substance Abuse Coalition, we provide youth development curriculum in the schools throughout Adams County and to after school programs, such as Teen REACH. In addition to youth development, the Not Me, Not Now social norms marketing campaign reminds youth that 2 out of 3 teens who had sex by age 18 wish they had waited longer. This message can be seen on billboards, newspaper ads, stall readers, and hear on a variety of local radio stations.
The Adams County Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program is funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services and facilitated by the Adams County Health Department.
